What happened to the dog- sorry I couldn;t help, we only have 2 scanners and leave both at the practice. I wasnt in the area for much of the day, and wasnt at the practice.

looked after
James it was being looked after by my neighbours. They did not want to put it in the local kennels as apparently you have to pay a fee (£80 was mentioned) to get your dog out. I will get an update when I see them.
Alsager Animal rescue
James I am imformed that it has now been handed to Alsager animal rescue and is now in kennels at Audley.
OK- they'll have scanned
OK- they'll have scanned him/her for a chip, and so if there is one, will be back in touch with the owners very quickly as the chip companies are open 24/7!
