Our local Neighbourhood Watch Manager, Steve Morris has been informed of two incidents which have occurred not in - but not far from Stoke -on-Trent.

On Friday 19th June, in Greenside Avenue, Stockton Brook an 8 years old boy was invited by a man to climb into the rear of his white Transit van to see a rabbit. The boy ran off and was unhurt. The man is described as a white male, grey haired, with a bit of ginger hair on his chin. He was wearing a black t-shirt.

On Thursday 25th June in Thirlmere Place, Newcastle a taxi driver invited a group of 10 years old boys to come and see a rabbit in the boot of his taxi. The boys ran off. The taxi was gold or silver in colour. The man was described as a white male, aged 40 years wearing a purple t-shirt.

Please remind young children of the Stranger Danger message.
