Found: Black Puppy
The puppy that was found wondering a week ago, has now been found loose again.
It can be collected from 18 Mustang Close.

WATCHOUT ALERT ACTION AID
The national charity, Action Aid, have been given permission to do a door to door collection, this will be throughout September, all collectors will be volunteers, and all will carry permits.

Staffordshire annual Neighbourhood watch conference
This years conference will be held once again at the Ruxton theatre, Weston road Stafford. This years main theme is the modernization of the emergency services.
Saturday 11th October 2008 9.30am - 4pm.

Floral & garden produce show
The 59th Floral & Garden Produce Show is moving to Tunstall Park as part of the Tunstall Park Centenary Celebrations (1908-2008)
The celebrations will take place on Sunday 31 August from 12.30 pm - 5pm. An afternoon of fun and entertainment for all the family is currently being programmed by the organising committee and this will be available with in the next two weeks.

Incident in Tunstall - Operation Amalgam - Scrap metal and cable thefts
Police officers working under Operation Amalgam - a dedicated unit set up to investigate scrap metal and cable thefts - have launched an appeal for help following an incident in Tunstall.
An offender who tried to cut through cabling at a building site on Scotia Road, at its junction with Beaumont Road, forced 1,600 homes to lose power between midnight and 3am yesterday, Wednesday 30 July.
The offender used a hacksaw in an attempt to cut through underground cabling, but failed and fled the scene.

Watchout Alerts latest - warnings from the police
Could all the community be aware of two warnings from the police.
The first involves two men posing as waterboard officials, trying to gain entry to the house of an OAP, in Talke. one man is described as white, of slight build, with short, dark hair, the other man is shorter, with dark curly hair, they had Irish accents.
The next incident in Badderley Green, involved workmen offering to jetwash drives, they gave an address as Bond street Meir, this address does not exist, once again the workmen had irish sounding accents.

Plant Vandals
It has been reported that the shrubs by the side of the tile shop on the high street have been ripped out and hurled across the path.
Neighbourhood Watch are appealing for witnesses.

Staffordhire regiment museum
On July 12th-13th, there will be a special events weekend commemorating the bravery of the regiments Victoria cross recipients, they have all Victoria medals on show, there is also going to be an enactment of the story of William Coltman, plus many attractions such timed tours of the museums replica trench system.
The event entitled Inspiring Bravery, is free, and are open from 10.30-4.30
The museum is situated on the A51 between Lichfield and Tamworth.
